Natalie Sélavy is a Dallas based food and fine art photographer.
Natalie is a classically trained chef and worked as a pastry chef in top Dallas restaurants before starting her own catering company. It was then she realized she enjoyed creating and styling plates of food then taking photographs of them. Natalie has a Bachelors Degree of Fine Art in Photography from The Art Institute of Dallas. Natalie's work is artistic, conceptual and technically sound; while pushing the boundary between traditional food photography and artistic worlds.
Natalie resides in Dallas with her dog Ollie and in her free time volunteers with Duck Team 6 Street Dog Rescue and at The Dallas Museum of Art.
UPDATE: As of August 2015 Natalie is now an elementary school art teacher and part time photography instructor.
